Medication Management

Medication management is a crucial component of psychiatric treatment, often combined with therapy to optimize mental health care. One of our clinician’s will assess a client’s symptoms and prescribe medications that can help alleviate issues such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, or psychosis. Regular follow-ups ensure that the medication is effective, adjusted as needed, and monitored for side effects. The goal of medication management is to improve a patient's overall functioning and quality of life, complementing therapeutic interventions for long-term mental health stability.

Traditional Talk Therapy

Traditional talk therapy, also known as psychotherapy, is a collaborative treatment where a licensed mental health professional helps individuals explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Through structured conversations, clients can identify patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and work through personal challenges such as trauma, anxiety, or depression. The therapeutic relationship fosters a safe space where individuals can express their concerns, gain insight into their mental health, and work towards emotional healing and personal growth.

EMDR

EMDR is a specialized, evidence-based therapy designed to help individuals process and heal from traumatic experiences. The approach uses guided eye movements, taps, or sounds to stimulate both sides of the brain while the client recalls distressing memories. This bilateral stimulation helps "reprocess" the memories in a way that reduces their emotional impact, allowing the brain to integrate them more adaptively. EMDR is especially effective for those suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), phobias, and other trauma-related conditions. Over time, clients often experience decreased emotional distress and improved cognitive clarity about their past traumas.

Ketamine Therapy

Ketamine therapy is used in conjunction with traditional talk therapy at Solace System Group. Patients suffering from treatment resistant depression, PTSD, and anxiety may find great relief with this therapy. Ketamine therapy in our office uses sublingual lozenges. This is an innovative approach for patients who haven't responded well to traditional treatments.

NET

Neural Emotive Technique (NET) is a mind-body therapy that focuses on identifying and resolving unresolved emotional stress that may be contributing to physical and psychological symptoms. NET works on the premise that negative emotions can become "stuck" in the body, leading to disruptions in a person's health and well-being. Through muscle testing and gentle stimulation, NET practitioners aim to uncover and address these emotional triggers. By pinpointing and releasing the emotional charge associated with past traumas or stressors, NET helps to restore balance in the body’s nervous system and supports both mental and physical healing.

NET is often used in conjunction with other forms of therapy to treat conditions such as anxiety, depression, chronic pain, and stress-related disorders. It is especially helpful in situations where traditional talk therapies alone may not fully resolve underlying emotional components tied to physical ailments.
